Its aim is to characterize the situation, stress aspects which are in my opinion important and mention some potential problems. In this paper I would like to briefly describe the "history" of extremism in the Czech Republic. (i.e. since 1991). In the final part I briefly high-light some aspects regarding the Czech policies for combating extremism and terrorism and mention some of the problems and challenges as well. At the of the paper there is a list of sources used.
